I’m an architect, urban strategist and storyteller exploring how the places we build shape the way we live, feel and connect.
With a background in civil engineering and architectural practice, I’ve spent the past 25 years exploring how design shapes human experience, from buildings to cities, from structure to soul.
My work sits at the intersection of neuroscience, design and urban strategy, helping cities, developers and organisations create environments that people don’t just use, but belong in.
Curious about why certain places make us feel grounded, inspired, or at ease, I went onto study neuroscience at the University of Chicago. That experience deepened my belief that the built environment isn’t just a backdrop for life, it’s a living system that interacts with our biology, emotions and behaviour every single day.
After two decades leading complex projects across scales, from concept and strategy to design and implementation, I now focus on community-centred urban development and future-oriented city visions. My approach combines technical precision with a deep curiosity for human behaviour, translating science into design that feels intuitive, connected and alive.
Today, I work between Amsterdam and Stockholm, collaborating with public and private partners to rethink how we plan, design and measure the built environment.
Because great architecture isn’t only about what we build, it’s about what we make possible.
